Xeve's first foal - Dec2006
News from Jodie McCleod to report Illarak Xeve has her first foal, very cute bay filly Shania Sakira (aka Holli), by a colored QH stallion but showing nothing but mum's georgousness as a new foal.
Vale Illarak Matrix - Oct2006
The tragic loss of Illarak Matrix has left a big gap in our hearts as he was to be our future Anglo sire, home bred by Claude and everything both John Steele and I ever dreamed of producing in our very reserved breeding program. Matrix had all the qualities as a super Anglo type with the sweetest nature and huge big eyes just like his Sire, we love you dearly Matrix, RIP.
Skip's first outing - April 2006
Pictured here is the very creative Emily Smith on Siege's Finale, Emily designed and created this fancy dress outfit to compete at the local gymkhana. What a marvellous effort especially for their first outing and all!
Foal Show - May 2005
Illarak Chevrolet showed her style at the Annual All Breeds Foal Show run by the NE Welsh Group at Tatura, she won her Arabian Derivate Filly class out of 11 fillies and also won the Open Breed over 14.2hh class.
Ladies Day Out - April 2005
A big day out for the ladies at the Albury Gold Cup was most enjoyable, hopefully one day an illarak bred horse will be there to place a few bets on. Pictured here is me, Leonie and Helen. All enjoying a lovely drop of Champagne :-)
Supreme - Feb 2005
Miss Cauvette is certainly proving to be our young rising star by finishing off her show season at Murray Bridge A&H Soc Show with Supreme Junior & Supreme Senior/Junior Derivative, also once again winning the best trot too. Congrats Julie and all the best to you and Vidge for your own new born coming soon :-)
Vic Classic - Dec 2004
A good show was had by all "Team Illarak" members, lots of big smiles and happy owners of Illarak babes, too many results to list but here is a few:-Illarak Xeve placing 2nd in the 4yo Snaffle Bit Maturity, Illarak Stellik winning Champion Open Ridden Anglo, young Jessica Bolt winning her first ever Junior Handler class with her young Anglo mare Illarak Xpozure and Illarak Cauvette winning the double 'Head & Trot' classes. Pictured here on the right is Jess with Xpozure in her handler class and on the left me with Cauvette a very proud breeder feeling very honored to show Cauvette in hand for Julie Mazzolleni who is due to have a new baby in May 2005.
Pride's new venture - Nov 2004
This season Millies Pride our big chestnut partbred mare is leased with the O?Shannessy family in Yackandandah VIC, Pride is being bred to a 17hh warmblood X stallion called Warlord II who at present competes at World Cup showjumping level finishing this seasons rounds with 2nd at Melb Royal & 2nd at Wodonga. Warlord II ?s sire Daley K who stands at Blackall Park is renowned for producing very competitive jumping, eventing & dressage stock, his dam Balmoral Princess is also an accomplished showjumping mare standing at 17.2hh. Pictured here is Nicole O?Shannessy competing this year at the World Cup showjumping at Sale on Nordic Fox who is Warlord II?s half brother, Fox is by Daley K out of Balmoral Belle.
